EducationMaster's of Science in Marine Biology from Auburn University with a 3.89 GPA.
Graduated as an undergraduate in Marine Biology at Auburn (Cum Laude with Honors).
ExperienceI recently earned my Master's degree in Marine Biology from Auburn University, where I was a lab teaching assistant for Organismal Biology, Principles of Biology, and Genetics. I also did my undergraduate there, graduating from the Marine Biology program.
I'm very laid back about scheduling and successfully tutored 20+ students during my time in Auburn. Fortunately, most of my students want to come back and will ask me to tutor multiple classes during their college career!
My strengths are sciences (Honors Biology/Honors Organismal Biology/Genetics/Ecology/Marine Systems, etc) and the liberal arts. I've taken four years of French for IB (high school) and Intermediate French as an undergraduate, and Music Appreciation in high school and again in college.
I've also recently tutored Intro to Psychology, as well as World History and a few other prerequisite type classes. Ask me about any other subjects or classes (especially sciences) and I'll see what I think my own abilities are!
HobbiesI have a dog and cat named Sherlock and Watson, whom I love dearly. I also play alto saxophone and cello, and I love scuba diving, classic movies, novels, hot-air ballooning (I'm a pilot!), opera, and painting. I'm originally from Decatur, Alabama, where I learned how to cook the very best barbecue.
