I currently hold a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Chapman University. I was able to achieve my degree in a matter of 3 years where I also maintained a solid 3.8 GPA throughout all of my math courses which allows me to understand mathematics to its core. I have had years of experience and have learned the essential ways to break down material so that the students easily and efficiently absorb the subject matter.
Experience
I have been tutoring for the past 8 years in professional and private settings, and have worked with students of all ages. Mathematics has always been a strong suit of mine, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I understand how important good grades are for children and their future. With this passion, I am able to share with them a step by step process on how to tackle their math problems, so that they are able to succeed in the classroom on their own. I have always found a calling in Mathematics since my youth, and as I continued to learn more on the subject through my studies, I found that sharing my knowledge with others is what truly counts. It allows me to bring a purpose to all I have achieved in the classroom in completing my Mathematics degree. It is so rewarding to see students progress, and gain the confidence they have been searching for in the classroom. Aside from Mathematics I have always been drawn to sports. I have played and continue to play soccer all of my life. It has even taken me in the past to play professionally abroad, and fulfill my other passion for traveling. On my free time I enjoy spending with my family and loved ones, and making those around me smile. I have been told that I have a personality that is easy to get along with and my students and their families appreciate my patience with others.
